Meet Nick
Hey Y’all,
My name is Nick Frederick, and I am a high school math teacher. I was born and raised in North Texas, and it has been my dream since the second grade to have my own classroom. Living out my dream as a teacher, I help my students learn and equip the next generation of Texans with the skills to grow and strengthen our communities.
In recent years, there have been unprecedented attacks on public education. Billionaires are paying state legislatures to withhold funding, which has gutted our community schools around the state.
These billionaires are trying to distract us by any means necessary: distract us from the fact that rent is too high, distract us from the fact our healthcare is being stripped away, distract us from the fact our power grid cannot function during the yearly freeze. Texas House District 106 deserves a representative who will fight to make life better for all of our residents.
I want to help our families, students, seniors, and neighbors achieve the American dream. This dream cannot be bought. I am ready to fight for healthy community schools, fight to lower the cost of exorbitant rent prices and fight to support bodily autonomy, reproductive rights, and the right to an abortion.
I am a math teacher running for the Texas House, and I am going to spend the next two years working tirelessly to earn your vote.
